The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a significant decision by imposing a ban on caste-based rallies in the state.

As per the directions of the Allahabad High Court, the state’s Chief Secretary has issued orders to all public departments, legal institutions, and police officials, instructing them to prohibit any rallies organized specifically on caste lines.
