Railway Recruitment Board GROUP-D

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released an indicative notification (CEN No. 09/2025) for recruitment to various Level-1 posts under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix. The recruitment drive is being conducted by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. The selected candidates will be placed in Level-1 of the 7th CPC pay matrix with an initial pay of ₹18,000 per month. The age limit for applicants is 18 to 33 years, calculated as on 1 January 2026. The recruitment is expected to fill around 22,000 vacancies (approximate) across all RRB zones. RRB has also advised candidates to complete Aadhaar verification during the online application process to avoid delays at later stages. Applicants must ensure that their name, date of birth, photograph, and biometric details in Aadhaar match their Class 10 certificates. The board clarified that this notice is purely indicative in nature.
