The Indian Space Exploration Association (ISRO) in the early periods of Wednesday (January 29, 2025) will manage the memorable 100th send off from the Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) in Sriharikota with the GSLV-F15 mission.
The first send off, on August 10, 1979, was the exploratory trip of Satellite Send off Vehicle-3 (SLV-3 E10) conveying the Rohini Innovation Payload, which was simply somewhat fruitful as per the space organization. The late previous Leader of India A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who was then with ISRO, was the Head of this mission. Dr. Kalam and ISRO authorities recuperated from the misfortune and tasted accomplishment with the SLV-3E2 a year after the fact, on July 18, 1980, as the Rohini satellite, RS-1, was set in circle.
After this, ISRO sent off two more SLV missions; four Increased Satellite Send off Vehicle (ASLV) missions; 62 missions from its workhorse, the Polar Satellite Send off Vehicle (PSLV); 16 Geosynchronous Satellite Send off Vehicle (GSLV) missions; seven Send off Vehicle Imprint 3 (LMV3) missions; three Little Satellite Send off Vehicle (SSLV) missions; one Reusable Send off Vehicle (RLV) mission; one Test Vehicle Cut short Mission; and one Cushion Cut short Test (PAT) as a feature of the Gaganyaan program.
