Candidates with Disabilities Will Be Able to Choose Their Preferred Examination Centre: UPSC

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has taken an important step for the Civil Services Examination–2026 and the Indian Forest Service Examination–2026. Under this step, candidates with disabilities will be allowed to choose their preferred examination centre.
According to the decision taken by the Commission, each candidate with a disability will be allotted a preferred examination centre based on their application. The existing capacity of the examination centres will be fully utilized, and the selection of centres by candidates with disabilities will be arranged accordingly.
The process of selecting the examination centre will be carried out by both types of candidates. However, if the capacity of a particular centre is exceeded, arrangements will be made to provide an alternative centre to the candidates.
